West Midlands Technology Network (WMTN)
The West Midlands Technology Network (WMTN) is a unique collaborative project that offers engineering product design and manufacturing advice free-of-charge to eligible SME’s in the West Midlands region. (Obj2 and Transitional).
Part funded by the European Regional Development Fund and Advantage West Midlands, the project has nine partners who work with SMEs across the west midlands for 30 hours/5 days. The network aims to improve the productivity and profitability of local eligible businesses.
The services offered include:
- Product Development and Design,
- 2D and 3D CAD design,
- CNC Machining,
- Rapid Prototyping,
- Electronic Design,
- Mechanical Engineering,
- Jewellery and Small Component Design,
- IT for Manufacturing,
- Laser Welding,
- Marketing and Financial Analysis of New Products.
