Exhibition opportunity In Germany to promote glass produced and made in the West Midlands

The Glass Collaborations group has joined forces with Dudley College's International Glass Centre and the Eisch Gallery, Frauenau, Germany to present: "Same Difference" an exhibition to promote new glass produced and made by West Midlands and German makers.  Exhibition Dates: 18th July 2008 to 17th August 2008.

 

Concept:

An exhibition of glass made by West Midlands and German makers, providing contemporary interpretations of manufacturing and hand making techniques, peculiar to glass made world wide!

 

Awards:

We have up to 21 exhibition participation awards to support glass makers trading from business premises in the West Midlands.

 

Artists selected for exhibition will be notified April 2008. The panel will comprise of UKTI, Glass Collaborations and Eisch Gallery representatives.

 

The awards are issued upon the gathering of auditable evidence. Auditable evidence will take the form of Business Assists, New Sales and Knowledge Sharing (TBC).

 

Eligibility:

The exhibition is open to glassmakers running businesses with trading addresses within the West Midlands and encourages the following regional clusters using glass within their work to participate: Jewellery, Designer Makers and Furniture.

 

Submission:
