Networking Lunch: presentation by

Wolverhampton Creative Industries Forum

This is as opportunity to network with other creative companies, have a spot

of lunch and listen to a presentation from Frank Challenger, the chair of the

Wolverhampton Creative Industries Forum which has been developing some

exciting plans for the city centre and its creative economy. The Forum invited

Comedia and Marsh:Grochowski to examine the potential for further

development of the creative industries in the city, with particular reference to

the area near to Light House, in the north-east quadrant of the city centre,

bounded by the inner ring road, Princess Road and Queen Street, taking in

the Art Gallery and Grand Theatre. As a working title, this area was

designated as the Creative Industries Quadrant. Comedia undertook

research, visited the area, photographed and digitally modelled it, produced

some potential concepts and ideas and discussed options with stakeholders.

The results of their research will be presented during this event.

Coffee and Tea from 12.00, the presentation will begin at 12.30 followed by a

Q&A and buffet.
